Urban League Campaigns

In the wake of Hurricane Irma (2017), the Urban League of Broward County launched Restore 954 - a community relief initiative designed to address the immediate and ongoing needs of families impacted by the storm.

Due to the generosity of many sponsors, suppliers, and partners, the Urban League was able to redirect Red Gala fundraising dollars and efforts towards providing relief for individuals and families in need.

Through the Urban League's existing service model, we enhanced programming to address the immediate and ongoing needs of children and families. We joined forces with local community partners to host a series of events and services that directly serve families on their road to recovery.

The Urban Leagues breaking the cycle campaign provides our community with access to life-changing employment and education opportunities and quality housing and health care services. These programs cut poverty by improving economic stability and uplifting struggling individuals and families.

Through strategic partnerships, the Urban League creates a fair shot at success for thousands of people.
