An Urban League of Broward County Small Business Development Program
The UL Loan Fund has a simple long-term goal: to sustain existing and create additional viable minority and minority women-owned small businesses that generate jobs for community residents and build community wealth.
|1.||Complete the intake form.

|2.||Create a project description
Create a short narrative (less that one page) describing your project and its intended outcomes.
|3.||Describe the use of funding
Create a proposed use of funds and sources. Provide cost estimates and/or invoices.
|4.||Provide your business plan
Update your business plan.
|5.||Determine your projections
Create a simple projection that demonstrates the intended impact of the financing.
|6.||Gather your resume
Gather the resumes of the owner(s) and key employees demonstrating management experience.
|7.||Provide personal tax returns
Gather a complete copy of the most recent personal tax returns for the borrower.
|8.||Create a personal financial statement
Create a personal financial statement: less than 30 days old.
|9.||Provide business tax returns
Gather an entire copy of the most recent business tax returns for primary business AND any affiliated companies.
|10.||Complete Credit Release Form
Complete the credit release form authorizing a company and personal credit check.
Submit an accountant-prepared full-year financial statement and interims including balance sheet, profit and loss statement, AP and AR aging reports of the same date and debt schedule.
If you have been in operation for less than 18 months, you must verify a secondary source of income and reasonable family expenses.
