Ready for Summer? 


 

The Urban League of Broward County is accepting applications for the 2018 Summer Enrichment Program. 

The Summer Enrichment Program (SEP) offers eligible students the opportunity to create, discover and learn through a variety of activities. Our experienced staff focuses on the educational development and social experiences that bring students together in a fun, safe and inclusive environment.

Urban League of Broward County
8:00 am - 5:00 pm

*Breakfast, lunch and a snack will be provided.

 

GRADE LEVEL

Elementary School   Entering Grades 2-5
Middle School  Entering Grades 6-8*
* William Dandy Middle School Students

ELIGIBILITY

Elementary Grades -  students entering grades 2-5 in the 2017/18 academic year 
Middle Grades - students entering grades 6-8 in the 2018/19 academic year (William Dandy students ONLY).

FEES

There is no cost to attend for middle school students. Fees for students enrolled in elementary school will be assessed on a sliding scale based on household income. 

ORIENTATION AND APPLICATION

To apply, complete the Summer Enrichment Program Package that will be provided at the mandatory orientation  sessions:

  • Monday, April 16, 2018
  • Wednesday, April 18, 2018
  • Monday, April 23, 2018
  • Wednesday, April 25, 2018
  • Monday, April 30, 2018
  • Wednesday, May 2, 2018

*Note: Monday orientation sessions will be at William Dandy Middle School from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm and Wednesday orientation sessions will be at the Urban League of Broward County from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Note: Parent/Guardians must submit copies of the following items along with their application at orientation:

  • child's birth certificate;
  • last for digits of child's social security number;
  • report card from the last reporting period;
  • parent/ guardian's identification (ex. driver's license, state identification)

All of the documents listed above (supporting documents along with application) must be submitted to the Urban League. Space in summer camp is limited, and all documents must be submitted in order to secure your child's enrollment.
