Homeownership Counseling and Foreclosure Prevention provides comprehensive housing counseling for first time homebuyers and individuals facing foreclosure. Debt reduction counseling and monthly workshops that are required prior to purchasing a home are provided as well as grant/loan application assistance. Our First-Time Homebuyer Workshop helps qualified low and moderate income residents in Broward County realize the dream of homeownership.
Individual Development Account (I.D.A.) Program is designed to increase knowledge and wealth in the low-income community by providing a 2:1 match savings program that will allow you to either purchase your first home, continue post-secondary education or establish a small business. Quarterly financial literacy workshops are held to encourage good budgeting and savings techniques. To qualify for IDA, complete the application. To continue the IDA process, register to attend an upcoming IDA Orientation here.
The program is designed to move homeless veterans in crisis to a stable housing environment. Primary services include case management, resource identification and referral and stable housing placement. Do you or a loved one need assistance with housing? Contact an SSVF Coordinator today!
