Fort Lauderdale, FL (June 28, 2012) – State of Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi will meet with the Florida Consortium of Urban League Affiliates & Derrick Brooks Charities at the Urban League of Broward County’s Community Empowerment Center on Tuesday, July 10, 2012.
The Florida Consortium of Urban League Affiliates is comprised of eight partners across the State of Florida: Tallahassee Urban League, Jacksonville Urban League, Central Florida Urban League, Derrick Brooks Charities(Tampa), Pinellas County Urban League, Urban League of Palm Beach County and Greater Miami Urban League.
Attorney General Pam Bondi will address representatives from the Florida Consortium along with government officials, students, and other invited guests. The event will also allow partnering agencies to discuss the success and outcomes of statewide youth development and crime prevention services. “The Florida Consortium has consistently delivered effective solutions through a continuum of juvenile prevention and intervention services,” said Urban League of Broward County President and CEO, Dr. Germaine Smith-Baugh. “It is our hope that this platform will allow is to showcase the real impact of our services and acknowledge the continued support of the Attorney General’s Office."
