About Us
For over 35 years, ULBC has focused on empowering the community, developing children and changing lives through a myriad of services to the Broward County community. Extended after school care programs, employment and training, GED assistance, homeownership and financial literacy, youth employment services, and educational programs are just a sample of the programs and services offered. The ULBC employs a three prong strategy focused in the following areas: Youth and Education Empowerment, Economic Empowerment and Health and Community Empowerment. On any given day you can find the ULBC staff working at community and school sites with more than 500 at-risk youth. The welfare of children in a safe and nurturing environment is of the utmost importance for UL staff. Please continue or begin a partnership with the Urban League. Get involved today!
